Engraving by Pieter van der Heyden, circa 1558, a fine, early impression of the first state (of two), with the ruling line still visible in the title, partial thread margins, trimmed between platemark and borderline elsewhere, with two unobtrusive vertical center creases visible mainly verso, a tiny tear at lower centre, some pale brown stains along the edges, otherwise in good condition
Condition
The sheet appears to have been previously glued down and there are associated stains and traces of glue on the verso and some buckling of the sheet.
