Etchings, circa 1748-1757, five plates from the Vedute di Roma, fine impressions, H. 1, 41, and 49 third state (of four, seven, and six respectively), H. 24 and 57 second state (of five and four respectively), all contemporary Roman editions apart from H. 57 (first Paris edition), on paper with a Fleur-de-Lys in Double Circle watermark apart from H. 57 with Lion in Shield watermark, with margins, usual central vertical fold, H. 57 reinforced with tape verso, occasional handling creases, pale paper discoloration, a few fox marks, H. 57 with minor defects at edges of sheet, otherwise in generally good condition

Condition

H. 1: with some fox marks mainly in margins, slight surface dirt along edges of sheet, a small thin area at upper right edge of sheet (only visible verso), paper discoloration, sheet 520 by 720mm; 20 1/2 x 28 1/4in H. 24: very few pale fox marks in lower margin, sheet 515 by 720mm; 20 1/4 by 28 1/4in H. 41: pale fox marks, sheet 510 by 720mm; 20 1/4 by 28 1/4in H. 49: very few pale fox marks, mainly in lower margins, slight surface dirt in upper and lower margins, sheet 515 by 720mm; 20 1/4 by 28 1/4in H. 57: slight paper discoloration, minor defects include small tears and minor paper losses, slight surface dirt at edges of sheet not affecting image, sheet 550 by 755mm; 21 3/4 by 29 5/8in
