Description

  • Pablo Picasso
  • Femme Nue Cueillant des Fleurs (B. 1092)
  • Image: 350 by 270 mm; 13¾ by 10 5/8 in
  • Sheet: 626 by 441mm; 24¾ by 17 3/8 in
Linocut printed in colours, 1962, signed in pencil, numbered 13/50, published by Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, on Arches wove paper, with wide margins (trimmed irregularly at bottom), generally in good condition apart from light- and mount-staining

Condition

The print is generally in good condition as catalogued. The sheet has been trimmed irregularly at bottom. Light-staining is significant, the entire sheet is darkened, most noticeably at the mount opening which was about 6mm from sheet edge. A sligthly lighter shade of paper tone is visible outside the image, suggesting there is also mount-staining from an earlier mount.
