Linocut printed in colours, 1962, signed in pencil and inscribed Epreuve d'artiste, aside from the numbered edition of 50, published by Galerie Louise Leiris, Paris, on Arches wove paper, with full margins, in good condition apart from a sharp horizontal crease in the lower centre of the image, pale light-staining, skinned patches verso (one with remains of paper tape)

Condition

The print is in good condition overall. The horizontal crease measures circa 60mm and extends through the figure's neck at lower center. There is minor ink cracking, but no associated ink loss. There is pale light-staining in a window around the image. Four skinned spots (each approx. 38 by 76mm) on the verso, two with remains of paper tape. The sheet is mounted to the front mat using adhesive tape at the sheet edges.
