Etching and aquatint printed in colours, 1974, signed in pencil, numbered 10/50, published by Maeght, Paris, on Arches wove paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from an area of damp staining verso, showing through to the recto in the lower left margin, pale light-staining and backboard staining, the verso with scattered fox marks (not visible recto), four remains of adhesive at top, the margins with flattened creases
Condition
The print is in good condition as catalogued. The damp stain at lower left consists of a series of small circular stains comprising a circualr area with diameter 5in, mainly visible on the verso and in the lower left margin recto. There are flattened creases in the margins - some printer's creases extending into the images but inherent in the printing process, some handling creases - and the remains of a flattened horizontal crease running the width of the print at center which is now visible mainly on the verso and via two horizontal lines of discoloration in the left and right margins. The verso has a few scattered fox marks and 4 remains of adhesive (old tape) in the upper margin.
