- signed and dated lower left: IHvP (in ligature) fecit i646/ W
- oil on copper
Condition
Upper plate flat and stable. Paint surface secure although some small losses are present; for example the upper, centre and lower left; and subsequent unfilled losses have discoloured. The varnish has discoloured somewhat. Inspection under UV light reveals minor scattered retouchings.
Later plain wood frame with some knocks.
