Condition
The canvas has an old relining which has not flattened the impasto which in many areas is well preserved. The paint surface has fine craquelure, is dirty and is under a discoloured varnish with no major damages visible to the naked eye. UV light reveals minor scattered retouchings, with a more concentrated 5 by 5 cm area lower centre. Overall in dirty but good condition. Offered in a wood and plaster frame with some knocks.
