Condition
The canvas has an old loose relining.
There are some substantial paint losses upper right as visible in the catalogue illustration and other minor scattered losses but otherwise the paint surface appears to be in fairly good condition. Passages of impasto are visible under an old yellowed varnish which precludes thourough inspection under UV light, although scattered old retouchings can be detected.
