Condition
The four canvases have all been effectively relined. They are offered framed and glazed. The paint surfaces appear in good condition to the naked eye though the varnish has discoloured in each of them. Under the thick varnish, which impedes thorough inspection with UV light, only some minor retouchings flouresce.
