STRUCTURE
The canvas has been lined.
PAINT SURFACE
The painting appears to be in good condition. There is one small horizontal crack to the paint in the centre left of the canvas, with a small area of resultant paint chipping.
ULTRAVIOLET
Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some very minor scattered strengthening, and infilling to craquelure, predominantly in the lower left of the canvas.
FRAME
Held in a Rococo style frame.
