Condition
The loose canvas has an old relining. There are three old restored damages patched to the reverse. One of approx 5 cm squared centre right, a second approx 1 cm squared centre right and a third horizontal damage approx 15 cm long centre left along the horizion.
The paint surface is otherwise in good condition with chunks of impasto under a dirty varnish.
This varnish impeeds thourough inspection under UV light but scattered retouchings do flouresce.
Offered in a gilt wood frame in good condition.
