Provenance
Carl Robert Lamm (1856-1938), possibly at Näseby Slot;
His sale, Stockholm, Bukowskis, 24-25 September 1923, lot 204, as 'Voille'.
Condition
The canvas has been relined.
The paint surface is secure and clean. There are some minor surface scratches upper centre which have been retouched. There is a small restored paint loss lower right approx 1 cm squared. Inspection under UV light reveals minor scattered retouchings especially to the face and hair.
Offered in a composite gilt wood frame a little rubbed with some minor cracks.
