Their sale, London, Sotheby's, 19 April 1989, lot 100, for £4,000, where puchased by the present owner.

Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure and sound under a yellowed varnish. The paint surface appears to the naked eye to be in good condition and this is confirmed under UV light as only very few minor strengthenings flouresce.
