Condition

The copper plate is mainly flat with only some minor unevenness in the upper right. There are some scattered old retouchings in the sky, and both old and new retouchings scattered throughout the large figure group; these are mainly confined to local areas, such as the Emperor Maximilian's drapery and the dark clothing of Justina. The paint surface is generally in very good condition but being somewhat dirty, would benefit form a surface clean.
