Condition

The support of this signed and dated work consists of a single copper plate which is flat and stable. The paint surface is under a yellowed varnish and is secure, though it has suffered in areas in the past. Scattered retouchings and infilled paint losses are visible to the naked eye throughout due to discolouration and there is an area of restoration upper right. Inspection under UV light confirms these as well as higlighting some further retouchings. Offered in a rippled wood frame in fair condition.
