Condition
"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
The old lining canvas has degraded and the paint surface is raised and insecure. There has been a significant loss and subsequent restoration to the right hand side from the sky down through to the architecture. Some loss to the left hand side and to the pilasters either side of the main door can also be detected. The rest of the painting is in a well preserved condition. The varnish is slightly discoloured.
Offered in a gilt wood frame with some losses."
