Condition
"The following condition report has been provided by Henry Gentle, an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's.
The oak panel is in a good condition, flat with no repairs, and the paint is stable. Under ultraviolet light remnants of an earlier varnish can be seen along with a few scattered retouchings. The varnish is slightly discoloured and its removal would improve the tonality. Overall, in a very good original and preserved condition.
Offered in a plain moulded dark wood frame in good condition."
