Condition
Two horizontal creases and two smaller ones at top left and right, strengthened on the verso with strips of paper, as are the edges of the sheet. Black areas very abraded as are parts of the drawing itself. Surface dirt. Top two corners made up. Small area of loss at left edge on face behind St. Peter's elbow. There is a large watermark top left.

This would seem to be a design for a stained glass window, although the shape of the composition is rather unusual. The artist is unrecorded.
