All unframed. There are some pale isolated fox marks on some of the drawings. A slight yellowing towards the margins of some sheets. One has a very small tear at the right hand side of the upper edge. The watercolour is very strong and fresh and overall the condition is fine for all of the draiwngs.

Catalogue Note
This and the following two lots were once part of a volume of costume designs which belonged to the Marquis de Carails. The designs were made for four dramas performed at the Reale Teatro, Turin, including Calipso and Talemacho. The volume's title described the artist as designer to King Vittorio Amadeo III of Sardinia, and was dated 1777, by which time Marini had been designing costumes for the theatre for eight years.
