Condition

Unframed. Laid down. Extensively spotted throughout. Repaired tear from lower left towards upper right, and towards lower right. Various small brown stains, particularly around the figure of Eve. Minor losses towards all four edges.

Catalogue Note

The monogrammist HCK has so far eluded identification.  Anton Laurer, however, is recorded as a glass painter active in Chur in the early 17th Century.  The style and composition of this Doppel-Projekt are reminiscent of Christoph Murer.
