Condition

Good, stable panel and paint surface. Uneven varnish. Under UV light: inpainting inside the cartouche to the area around the madonna and child. Repaint to the outline of the cartouche. The panel is incised with the initials of the panel-maker, Michael Vriendt, and the coat of arms of the city of Antwerp.
