Condition
Old lining. The surface is dry and brittle but there is no flaking occuring at this point. Very thin paint surface in some areas with the red ground showing through; a repair along the upper edge. Under UV light: small round areas of repaint in a few scattered spots; the largest area of inpainting is along the upper edge, above the figures at right.
