Condition

Canvas is lined (an inscription at lower right on reverse: RESTORED 1909 --w.d.s.) SURFACE: in generally good condition surface has been compressed from relining, but there is good retention of pigment , colors are vivid and details crisp UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: scattered small repaints throughout--don't see any indications of serious tears, holes; figures are mostly clear except for some craquelure fill-in on a few of them
