Canvas is not lined. SURFACE: in fairly good condition; surface has been compressed from relining--a few scattered, thin areas where canvas weave shows through UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: a few repaired tears: largest is at center left (in the shape of a "T" on its side--about 4 in by 3 in.), another at lower right (about 2 by 2 in.) and another at lower left (about 1 in. long, vertical); aside from this, there are scattered, smaller spots of inpainting
