SURFACE: in good, original-looking condition; scattered craquelure with stretcher marks (seems stable)--scattered, minor losses along edges (probably from old framing); very dirty, needs cleaning (surface has yellowed and darkened over time) UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting
