SURFACE: canvas appears to be in original condition; right half of canvas' upper edge has torn away (rather evenly) from tacking edge--needs immediate attention; canvas is generally quite loose on stretcher; craquelure throughout with stretcher marks UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: no apparent inpainting
