Condition

a) Very good overall condition. Few marks on the mounting. Simple wooden frame painted in black and gold. b) Simple gilt wooden frame painted in black.

Charlotte de Laborde était l'épouse de Gabriel Delessert. Il est possible que le portrait daté 1833 soit bien celui de Gabriel Delessert, âgé de 47 ans en 1833. En revanche, le portrait daté 1848 ne peut pas représenter Gabriel Delessert, il s'agit probabalement d'un autre membre de la famille.
