There is a fine craquelure throughout the work, most evident on the lighter areas of the painting. There are a few small areas of paintloss to the right of the central figure's face and in the background, some scattered paintloss and evident inpainting on the blue dress. There is an uneven varnish. The face of the putti and the hand of the central figure at right seem to be discolored. Although it is hard to tell for sure, it would appear that this is a blanching in the varnish, and very well make come off when the varnish is removed. Some light frame abrasion UNDER UV: There is some inpainting to the backgrounds and on the blue gown, no apparent inpainting on the faces of the figures.
