"A beautifully produced work which includes vases from the Malmaison collection, the Musée Napoleon, the Sevres Manufactury, the Gallitzin Collection and others" (Blackmer). The work was published in 25 parts. This copy was clearly lacking one of the parts when it was bound up, which would account for the 6 missing plates. The plates in the Blackmer copy were plain.
