Oblong folio (280 x 465mm.), atlas volume only, large folding hand-coloured engraved map and 46 finely hand-coloured engraved plates and charts on 28 sheets, resembling original watercolours, captions in Italian, hand-coloured engraved head- and tailpiece, each plate within a grey-wash border, 3 other maps loosely inserted (including one of southeast Asia by de Fer), near contemporary calf, a very few minor stains and tears, binding slightly worn
