very rare. The colour plates comprise: 1. Title with View of Bay of Victoria and part of the military Cantonment; 2. Forts and Batteries of the Bocca Tigris, or First Pass of the Canton River. HMS Steamship Vulture etc.; 3. Gen. D'Aigular with the 18th Royal Irish taking possession of the Annanchoy Batteries; 4. The staked Batteries, or Second Pass of the Canton River above Whampoa; 5. Troops attacking Forts Wookongtap & Whampoa Creek; 6. French Folly Fort, within sight of City of Canton; 7. British and Foreign Factories at Canton; 8. The Keep of French Folly Fort blown up by Royal Sappers and Miners; 9. British Factory at Canton. Troops drawn up to receive Commissioner and Viceroy; 10. The return to Hong Kong. The Vulture passing the Battery upon Tygris Island.
