Catalogue Note

a very good copy. The first volume describes the Greek archipelago and the eastern Mediterranean; the second volume covers Asia, the Black Sea, the Caucasus and Persia. The author was one of the great botanists of his time, discovering many new plant species during his travels in the Levant.
