Catalogue Note
Manolis Kalomiris (1883-1962) was arguably the leading figure of the national school of Greek twentieth-century music. The opera Anatoli was performed at the Olympia Opera House in Athens on 18 December 1945. Valsa add some more details about his translation of Kalomiris's revision of the opera:, at the foot of his French title he explains in Greek, that this is a "free version not second version" of the opera.
