- Two autograph musical quotations, by Grieg from the Ballade for piano, and by Prokofiev from the "Classical" Symphony
signed and inscribed ("EdvardGrieg Op.24...Bergen, Norwegen, Sep[tember] 1893"), notated in dark brown ink on two staves, with tempo markings and phrasing, 1 page, oblong 8vo (18 x 24cms), on letter-paper with integral blank, in a card mount with a lithographed portrait of Grieg, overall size: c.42 x 29cms, 1893; together with a quotation by Prokofiev of the "Gavotte" from the "Classical" Symphony, signed ("Serge Prokofieff 1930"), 1 page, oblong 8vo (c.10 x 15.5cms), on an album-leaf, 1930
