  • Autograph letter signed ("Serge Diaghilev"), in French, to an unnamed friend, about Nijinsky
thanking him for sending the envelope which should contain Nijinsky's will ("...le testament de Nijinsky..."), and which he received safely, noting that he will not fail to hand it to his sister Bronislava Nijinskaya on his next visit to Monte Carlo, 1 page, 8vo, printed stationery of the Hotel Continental, Paris, 15 December 1922, creased, small tears to left-hand margin repaired on verso

Nijinsky's dancing career had effectively come to an end in 1919, following a nervous breakdown, and the dancer was to spend his remaining 31 years in and out of psychiatric hospitals.
