  • Two autograph letters and printed death notice
1) to the pianist Marie Baumayer, apologising for having promised her too much ("Ich habe leider zu viel versprochen!..."), informing her that the violin part to the sonata is missing and that he cannot find the 'Fantasiestücke', 1 page, 6 x 9.8cm, on a printed visiting card ("Johannes Brahms"), autograph envelope, postmarked 2 February 1894; 2) to Professor Gänsbacher, in pencil, concerning Fräulein Wenzl, 2 pages, 6 x 9.5cm, on a printed visiting card ("Johannes Brahms"), no place or date; 3) Printed death notice, 1 page, 23 x 29cm, black borders, Vienna, 4 April 1897; together with a postcard photograph of the composer and a printed invitation to a Brahms memorial concert in Vienna on 8 May 1898 (5)
