folio (282 x 197mm.), woodcut initials (many historiated), woodcut illustrations throughout (some repeated), woodcut printer's device beneath colophon, contemporary blind-stamped calf over wooden boards, metalwork centre- and cornerpieces, 2 clasps, edges gauffered in blind, in modern folding cushioned box, preliminaries misbound (quire A before [*]), bookplate removed from A1, title-page ([*]1) with marginal paper repairs, a few other small marginal tears or repairs, a few small wormholes in text and particularly in final quire, O2_5 supplied from another copy, joints cracked, spine repaired and with later labels
