  • Autograph music manuscript signed ("Lili Boulanger"),
comprising a page of short score of the cantata "Faust et Hélène", with deleted title  " Concours de Rôme 1913 (Essai) Choeur",  on two systems, each of seven staves, 1 page, folio, 1913; together with an autograph musical manuscript by Nadia Boulanger, signed and dated ("Nadia Boulanger oct. 1918), marked: "à déchiffrer...dans le style populaire",  a complete piece for piano; with typed letter signed

Catalogue Note

The Boulanger sisters were an important force in French music in the twentieth century, Nadia important as a teacher, Lili as a composer, whose early promise as a composer was cut short by illness. Lili was the first lady composer to with the Prix de Rôme with this cantata.
