Description
- Autograph letter signed ("Il vostro frat[ello] Paganini"), to his sister Nicoletta, about his ill health
telling her that he will probably stay in Marseilles for another three months, as the sun makes him hope for an improvement in his health, thanking her for her kind thoughts for him, responding effusively, exchanging affectionate embraces with her family, including between their sons, and noting that her secretary's letter was, like the preceding ones, full of spelling mistakes ("...Ho gradito i vostri auguri e ve ne ritorno altretanti coi sensi della più alta devozione pregando il Cielo che vi conservi felici pur de secoli. e così sia per voi e per la vostra famiglia. Il sole mi fa sperare un miglioramento, e resterò qui probabilmente 3 mesi. Intanto continuate ad amarmi.."), 1 page, oblong 8vo (c.13 x 21cms), one tiny hole, Marseilles, 8 January 1839
