Six etchings and aquatints four printed in black and two in colours, 1967-68, forming a set compiled for the exhibition Le Cirque at Éditions Gérald Cramer, Geneva, in 1972, each signed in pencil, four numbered 4/35, two numbered 4/50 (impressions in black were executed in an edition of 35, the colour impressions in an edition of 50), published by l'Atelier Lacourière et Frélaut, Paris, on various papers, with full margins, in generally good condition apart from light-staining, some foxing particularly to the margins and C. 3 with light-staining and foxing throughout the image

C. 2 (Le cirque fantastique) - on old japan paper, in good condition apart from some pale light-staining and pale foxing to the margins, some foxing and pale backboard staining verso. Image: 236 by 305mm; 9¼ by 12in. Sheet: 409 by 515mm; 16 by 20¼in. C. 6 (La grande danseuse) - on japon nacre paper, in good condition apart from some pale mount-staining and small patch of brown staining to the lower edge of sheet. Image: 348 by 247mm; 13¾ by 9¾in. Sheet: 572 by 433mm; 22½ by 17in. C. 12 (Le clown-acrobate) - on Rives wove paper, significant foxing throughout the lower half ot the image and extending into the upper half, light-staining, remains of old hinging tape to upper edge verso and some further spots of foxing verso. Image: 304 by 237mm; 12 by 9¼in. Sheet: 494 by 377mm; 19½ by 14¾in. C. 23 (Le petit ane équilibriste) - on japon teinté, in good condition apart from one spot of foxing to the centre of the composition and four further spots of foxing to the margins, remains of old hinging tape adhered to the upper edge verso. Image: 201 by 152mm; 8 by 6in. Sheet: 351 by 278mm; 13¾ by 11in. C. 34 (Le pierrot) - on Rives wove paper, in good condition apart from pale light-staining, some scattered foxing to the margins extending slightly into the image at lower right, remains of old hinging tape adhered to upper edge verso. Image: 610 by 440mm; 24 by 17¼in Sheet: 753 by 573mm; 29 5/8 by 22½in C. 35 (Dressage de l'animal fou) - on Rives wove paper, the image in good condition, some pale foxing to the upper edge of composition, further spots of foxing to the margins, light-staining, a few spots of foxing verso. Image: 223 by 164mm; 8 7/8 by 6½in. Sheet: 380 by 288mm; 15 by 11¼in.
