Condition

This work is in good condition. The left edge is worn for which some small pieces of paint loss are visible due to the framing. There are a few cracks and one spot of paint loss of approximately 0.5 cm. situated 30 cm. from the left edge and 99 cm. from the lower edge. There is one tiny spot of paint loss situated 32 cm. from the left edge and 74 cm. from the lower edge. Some spots of dirt along the lower edge towards the right edge are only visible in the shadow.

In 1971-72 Constant has made a series of four paintings, depicting the evolution of the subject: Erotic Space, Entrance of the Labyrinth, Labyrinth (the present work) and Space Destructed (see: M.
