Overall the condition of the terracotta is excellent. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor chips to the surface including slight ones on the top of the head of the standing lady and to the foliage on the right and left side of the group.

Note the resemblance between the figures and composition of the present lot and those of Le Feu from Pillement's series of prints Les Quatre Saisons.
