Description

Cabochon sapphires measuring approximately 15.7 by 11.7 mm. to 8.0 by 6.4 mm., round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 5.00 carats, additionally set with calibré-cut sapphires, mounted in gold and platinum, length 6 inches, partial maker's mark, French assay mark.

Condition

Good condition with overall wear throughout. Evidence of solder to reverse of central plaque. The larger cabochon sapphires are light blue to violetish blue and moderately included. The calibré-cut sapphires are deep blue and nicely matched. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS-SI clarity. The tongue clasp bears partial maker's mark. Also stamped with French assay mark, 750, SC and JR within a triangle. The female end of the clasp has a faint mark reading USA. The central plaque bears French assay marks. Fitted with a safety clasp.
