Description

  • Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co.
Round diamonds weighing approximately 7.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold, internal circumference 6½ inches, signed Tiffany & Co., Schlumberger, maker's mark, French assay mark.

Condition

Very good condition overall with almost no apparent wear to the gold. The second link from the male end of the clasp bears a very minor crescent-shaped crack. The ninth link bears a lily pad-shaped crack where the top layer has become separated from the base layers, but with no enamel loss. Neither crack is readily apparent. Enamel in otherwise good condition. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VVS-VS clarity. Bearing a nice heft, approximately 115 dwts. With maker's mark of a kid goat flanked by A V. Possibly for Vassort of Paris. The bracelet opens by grasping the knot at the side of the clasp, sliding it outward and then pressing on the thumbpiece.
In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. Prospective purchasers are reminded that, unless the catalogue description specifically states that a stone is natural, we have assumed that some form of treatment may have been used and that such treatment may not be permanent. Our presale estimates reflect this assumption.
