Description
- Ruby, diamond and platinum
The oval ruby weighing 6.47 carats, framed by trapeze-cut, tapered baguette and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .70 carat, mounted in platinum, size 5½.
Condition
Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 41002 stating that the ruby is of Burmese origin; heat enhancement: none. The ruby is a medium very slightly pinkish red color and is slightly to moderately included, with a few of those inclusions reaching the surface. There are two chips to the stone, at or just under the girdle of the stone, which are not noticeable to the naked eye and do not effect the outline of the stone significantly. There is also a significant fissure on the underside of the stone, which does not effect the stability. Set with 2 trapeze-cut, 4 tapered baguette and 26 single-cut diamonds approximately H-I color and VS-SI clarity. In good condition overall.
