- Ruby, diamond, onyx, enamel and platinum
Old European-cut and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.60 carats, further set with carved rubies and onyx beads, applied with black enamel, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, indistinct numbering.
Condition
Set with 7 carved rubies of light medium pink-red to medium deep purplish red, heavily included, with numerous surface-reaching inclusions, chips and fissures. The ruby at the clutch tip is drilled through and chipped at the top. Also set with 73 old European-cut and single-cut diamonds approximately H-J color and SI clarity and 9 onyx beads. Some chipped and missing enamel. In good condition overall. Signed Cartier and indistinctly numbered 203_ on clutch tip.
