The coiling fish applied with white enamel in a lattice motif, the eyes set with cabochon rubies, the mouth and tail set with round diamonds weighing 1.31 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold and platinum, size 7, signed Webb.

Condition

Area of enamel loss on the fish's head, approximately 3mm, but very little of the gold is exposed. Also a small area of damage and possible repair to one of the scales on the body as well as typical minor chipping to the underside of the shank. The diamond weight stated in the catalogue is derived from the original David Webb invoice. Diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity. The medium pinkish red rubies are typically included and weigh .52 carat (weight derived from invoice).
