- Buccellati
The stylized lozenge-shaped brooch of textured gold, set in the center with a cabochon chrysoprase, framed by numerous round rubies and rose-cut diamonds, together with a gold chain of rope twist design, interspersed with 10 openwork clusters set with round and rose-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, length 16¾ inches, signed Buccellati, Italy, numbered 15783, one diamond missing. With fitted signed box.
Condition
Accompanied by copy of original invoice no. 29294 from Buccellati dated May 1, 1976. Diamonds are of decorative quality (one small diamond missing from a rosette on the chain) and rubies are a medium deep pinkish red. The chroysoprase is a higly domed cabochon which is opaque. With 4 extra chain segments approximately 1 inch each. In good condition. Both brooch/pendant and chain are signed Buccellati and brooch/pendant with scratch number 15783.
