- Tiffany & Co.
The circular cream dial with black arabic numerals and blued steel hands, framed by round diamonds, the shoulders enhanced by baguette and French-cut diamonds, completed by an openwork link bracelet set with numerous round and single-cut diamonds, the total diamond weight approximately 4.80 carats, mounted in platinum, manual movement, length 6¾ inches, dial signed Tiffany & Co.
Condition
Good condition. Dial in good condition. The unsigned bracelet is possibly later added; the third link from the female end appears to have been made by a different hand from the other links, but not immediately apparent. Movement signed C. H. Mehlan, Brassus, Swiss. 17 jewels, 3 adjustments, numbered 8138, currently running. Caseback inscribed "To Mother from M.L. and L. December 25, 1937". Caseback interior stamped IRID + PLAT numbered 65669 and with maker's mark. Fitted with a safety chain.
