Description
Set with an oval ruby weighing 5.04 carats, amid a stylised basket micro pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds extending throughout the shank, mounted in platinum.
Condition
Colour and Clarity: According to both the Gübelin and GRS reports, the ruby is natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, and the colour variety is considered as "pigeon's blood" red. Please refer to both reports for details. In our opinion, the colour is of vivid red colour, eye clean with very good brilliance. Upon 10x loupe, there are a few crystal inclusions and fingerprints which are not see to naked eyes and do not affect the visual appearance of the ruby. Tiny diamonds together weighing approximately 0.50ct, are probably of G to H colours, VS clarity.
Condition: Eternity diamond-set ring shank, which cannot be resized, in excellent condition.

Catalogue Note
Ring size: 6¼
Accompanied by Gübelin and GRS reports numbered 0706549 and GRS2007-010862, dated 29 June and 4 January 2007 respectively, stating that the 5.04 carat ruby is natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indication of heat treatment, 'pigeon's blood' colour; also accompanied by a note from Gübelin laboratory stating that large, natural, untreated rubies of almost any geographic origin have become even more difficult to find on the market today.
